Joshua T. Hanson, MD, MPH

Joshua T. Hanson MD, MPH, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine/Hospital Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  Before coming to Texas, he was a Clinical Instructor at the University of California, San Francisco.   Dr. Hanson was a HHMI-NIH Research Scholar at the National Institutes of Health from 2005 to 2006.   He received his MD at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2007 and his MPH at the University of California in Berkeley, California in 2011. His areas of interest include medical education, access to care, health disparities and quality improvement. His research focuses on improving patient care during transitions in care.
