Annually, the Environmental Excellence awards are given to recognize Significant Industrial Water Users for their outstanding achievements in the Pretreatment Program. Selection was based on criteria reviewed by the SAWS Resource Compliance Division. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is a proud recipient of an Environmental Excellence Award for 2001.
