bullet NIH offers training awards at various career levels: Undergraduate, Graduate and Medical Students, Predoctoral, Postdoctoral. NIH's Research Training Opportunities webpage offers information on extramural and intramural training programs as well as career guidance and employment opportunities. (Extramural opportunities are ones that the training can be obtained from an institution outside the NIH while Intramural opportunities are carried out directly at the NIH.)

NIH strongly encourages interested applicants to contact program officials for guidance or visit Institute's Internet Website in order to obtain current information about program priorities, research topics of interest, and policy guidelines.
