NIH no-cost extension procedures

• The HSC has the authority to grant a one-time extension of up to one year on NIH grants only. A request for the extension should be made in writing to Jane Youngers, Assistant Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs can be e-mailed: youngers@uthscsa.edu. The request should include a technical justification for the extension and the period for which the extension is requested.
