Instructions for changing your password via the Internet

If you have recently received a new UTHSCSA domain account, you will need to change your password the first time you attempt to use any network resource, such as a printer, a secure web server, or a file server.

If you already have a domain account but have received a message that it has expired, you will need to change your password. State of Texas regulations and UTHSCSA security policy mandate that passwords be changed on a regular basis, which is currently 60 days.

You may change your UTHSCSA domain account password at anytime by using the following link using either Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Using a web browser, go to the following location:

https://webex.uthscsa.edu/iisadmpwd/aexp2b.htr

When you attempt to open this page, your browser will warn you that the security certificate was issued by a company that you have not chosen to trust. This is OK. The certificate was generated locally by our network administrator. This behavior is expected and safe for use by our internal community.

In Internet Explorer: A dialogue box will ask you if you want to proceed. Click Yes.

In Netscape Navigator: When the Certificate Inspection wizard starts, Click Next four times in a row, accepting all default settings, and then click Finish.

You may also get a warning that you are about to view information in a secure page. Click OK, as this is normal behavior on those web browsers that do not have this feature turned off.

You will then be presented with a page titled Internet Service Manager.

The Domain will always be UTHSCSA and should be filled in by default.

If you have any questions, please contact your TSR or call Triage at 7-2069.
