• Profile and Permissions Instructions-you can send the link to these instructions when you request someone to give you permission to their profile.
• Exploding Document Instructions- upload a single pdf document of assorted research plan sections and the document will "explode" into the different required sections in Cayuse.

• Where to obtain detailed instructions on getting your desktop ready.

Module 2 - Intro to Cayuse 424

In this module you will learn:

• How Cayuse424 supports online development and submission of grant applications to Grants.gov
  
• How to: Log-on, Personalize your password, Set user preferences

Module 3 - The Opportunity

In this module you will learn how to use Cayuse424 to:

• Determine if your opportunity has already been downloaded into Cayuse424.
  
• Download opportunities from Grants.gov.

Module 4 - Start Build

In this module you will learn how to use Cayuse424 to:

• Start building a new grant proposal.

Module 5 - Budget

In this module you will learn how to use Cayuse424 to create a:

• Detailed Budget
  
• Modular Budget
  
• Subaward Budget

Module 6 - Complete Build

In this module you will learn how to:

• Attach documents to your grant proposal.
• Attach the Research Plan to your grant proposal. View the grant proposal and attachments in PDF format.

Module 7 - Science

In this module you will learn:

• Cayuse424 Basic Template Concepts.
• How to use Cayuse424 templates using a PC or MAC to:
  • Create a Research Plan from scratch.
  • Work with an existing Research Plan.
  • Create a Biosketch.
  • Create other miscellaneous documents.
    
  • Create all Science documents in PDF suitable for uploading to the proposal and transmitting electronically to the grant agency.

Module 8 - Routing/Review/Approval

In this module you will learn basic routing concepts, rules and how to use Cayuse424 to:

• Create a routing chain.
  
• Edit a routing chain.
  
• Initiate the proposal routing process.

Module 9 - Submit

In this module you will learn how to use Cayuse424 to:

• Discern the status of a proposal once it has been submitted to Grants.gov.
  
• Submit proposals to Grants.gov.
