Access to the vivarium is dependent upon completion of the Orientation/Training class: Introduction to DLAR and How to Function Within the Vivarium.

This is in addition to the CITI training required by the IACP Office.

The Orientation/Training class is held every Thursday at 8:30a.m. in room 113D, 1st floor of the Medical Bldg. There is no registration required to attend the orientation class. Please bring your UT Id badge with you to receive credit for attending the class.

DLAR training is provided to you, at no cost, in accordance with the requirements of the USDA Animal Welfare Regulations.

Animal Purchases via PeopleSoft Financials

Investigators and research staff may submit an animal purchase requisition directly through PeopleSoft Financials web requisition ordering system. Please access the Animal Requisition Worksheet and Job Aid fo guide you when completing the request.
