Referral cases from local veterinarians are accepted.

Emergency cases are not accepted and hospitalization is not provided.

Elective surgery must be scheduled in advance by calling ext. 7-6166.

The DLAR operates a limited service outpatient veterinary clinic. Pets of faculty, staff, and students of the Health Science Center will be treated on a cash basis.

The clinical veterinarian treats these animals after attending to the needs of the research animals, so immediate service or appointments cannot generally be provided. The number of cases that can be handled daily is limited.
