The Office of the Institutional Animal Care Program facilitates the institution's efforts to ensure that all education, training, and research involving the use of animals conducted at the University is in accordance with Federal and University rules and regulations. Training Programs In accordance with NIH, USDA, and AAALAC requirements, the Health Science Center offers the following IACP training programs:
Protocol Review The Institutional Animal Care Program Office coordinates the review of protocols for the use of animals at the Health Science Center. All protocols for the use of animals must be submitted to the IACP office for administrative review prior to review by the LAR veterinarians and the IACUC. For further information about the protocol review process, contact the IACP office administrative staff prior to review.
